Dear community,
I want to classify aerosol subtypes of level 2 profiles using AVD flag given by CALIPSO? Please note that I am not using vertical feature mask product. I want CALIPSO Lidar Level 2 5km Aerosol Profile data and subtypes of profile using AVD flag? Kindly please help me to do this analysis in MATLAB?

Thank you for your interest in CALIPSO data.

Here is a description of the AVD flag, which is numerically the feature classification flags:

So if you can decode that parameter you should be able to decode this flag.
