Hi there, I am facing a problem when I have to upload my study site zipped shapefile on NASA appEEARS. I have the shapefile in shp, dbf, prj and shx. I zipped these and when I try to upload them, I get the error " Error: I don't know that shp type". I checked the shapefile on QGIS to make sure it does appear and everything looks okay. What can I do to resolve this error?

Hello @dexterhlocke Thanks for writing in. Here is the advice we had for the previous poster "Several of us had the same issue but then unpacked it and zipped it back up and it worked. Could you give it a try and let us know how it goes." Please try that first and if that does not work, then please email us (lpdaac@usgs.gov) your shapefile so we can look into it further. Thanks, I tried the unzip and re-zip trick and that did not work. I ended up drawing a polygon and worked out fine for my purposes.
