I'm attempting to access S3A CyAN data through the Advanced tab of the Ocean color file search page accessed on 11/29/2023 (https://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/api/file_search/). However, I haven't been able to read any of the NetCDF files after downloading. Given the example file S3A_OLCI_EFRNT.20221130.L3b.DAY.CYANV5.nc, I run into the following error in SeaDAS: "No appropriate product reader found. File can not be opened."; the following error in ArcGIS Pro: "The input netCDF file does not have a valid variable."; and the following error in R: "Error in ncvar_type_to_string(rv$precint) : Error, unrecognized type code of variable supplied: -1."

SeaDAS does not provide a reader for L3b files. You can use l3mapgen to create L3m files from L3b, which SeaDAS can read -- https://seadas.gsfc.nasa.gov/help-8.4.0/processors/ProcessL3mapgen.html
