Hyperspectral Rayleigh Corrected Radiance from PACE

by pbkeegstra » Thu Dec 07, 2023 12:27 pm America/New_York

Will it be possible to produce hyperspectral Rayleigh corrected radiances from PACE using l2gen? Should it be possible to demonstrate that using the most recent l2gen release and the existing L1B sample data? Is there a document somewhere with hints for that?

msl12 9.6.0-V2023.3 (Oct 4 2023 22:27:24)

L1B I have is not versioned but was downloaded with L2 V9.1

Yes. The product is rhos (3D array, or rhos_vvv -VIS bands in 2D or rhos_nnn -all bands in 2D). One caveat is that the sample data have been updated and I *think* are incompatible with the version of l2gen you have. You can update to the T2023.30 tag for a version that will work. The official ("V" tag) release will be updated in the first quarter of CY24.
