"Unable to Retrieve Data
Please ensure that you have authorized the remote application by visiting the link below"
I am trying to download GPM Imerg dataset from Cygwin64. I have already asked permisson for several application in the Earth Data platform, as stated at https://wiki.earthdata.nasa.gov/display/EL/How+To+Pre-authorize+an+application

Hello,
Ran into a similar issue when downloading viirs data. Realised some of the urls in the auto-generated shell script could not be reached (possibly due to reprocessing of the data, with the older files/urls being replaced with recent ones).
If your issue is similar, you could either : 1) remove all the inactive/unreachable urls from the script, or 2) modify the script to ignore all inactive urls
