Where to find LST data from DSCOVR EPIC products

I read those product descriptions about EPIC but sadly I didn't find anything about LST. Anyone can help me find which product of EPIC contains LST data?

Hi bashenyin,

If you are trying to find DSCOVR EPIC data for your local area in Local Solar Time (LST), then you need to calculate the Greenwich mean time (GMT) for when the sun is directly over your local area. The time coordinate of the DSCOVR EPIC data is GMT. Given GMT and local longitude, the LST is calculated as LST = GMT + longitude/15°.

I hope this helps.

I'm very sorry for not describing my question carefully enough.
To be precise, I want to know where to find Land Surface Temperature data(if any product contains).

Thank you very much for your reply.

Hi Arthur,

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Depending upon a person's background, "LST" could mean many things. :D

DSCOVR EPIC has DSCOVR_EPIC_L2_COMPOSITE_01 with Skin temperature, Brightness Temperature at different wave length. Here's a link to the data: https://search.earthdata.nasa.gov/search/granules?p=C1576365803-LARC_ASDC&pg[0][v]=f&tl=1707244480.257!3!!

LST or Land Surface Temperature is retrieved by MODIS and any of the Landsat missions. Here's a link to the MODIS LST if you are interested: https://modis.gsfc.nasa.gov/data/dataprod/mod11.php

I hope this helps.
