The Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC) is pleased to announce the release of the MODIS/Terra Land Water Mask Derived from MODIS and SRTM Level 3 Global Version 6.1 (MOD44W) data product with a 250 meter spatial resolution. Version 6.1 provides annual data for 2000 to present and now includes spatial coverage for Antarctica.
