Unfortunately I am looking for data with as small resolution as possible, 1 km is the smallest I have found. I am looking at the changes in sea surface temperature in a very small area.

All I need is a dataset with longitude, latitude, time, and the sea surface temperature, so I can make plots and calculate the mean temperature every month of the year in a specific pixel.

The VIIRS L2P SST products have 750 m x 750 m spatial resolution. Please see the VIIRS L2P SST product available at PO.DAAC by following this link: https://podaac.jpl.nasa.gov/cloud-datasets?search=viirs%20sst&view=list&ids=Processing%20Levels&values=2%20-%20Geophys.%20Variables,%20Sensor%20Coordinates.

Thank you for the suggestion, however, I need data that goes back to the early 2000s. Starting somewhere between the years 1999 and 2005.

MODIS-Terra SST data products begin in 1999, and are at 1km resolution at nadir in the Level 2 swath format.

It is vital to mention the dataset when discussing Level 4 data because it affects model outcomes. Clarity ensures that visualizations are accurately interpreted and yield valuable insights.
