HEG resample error in linux

by jianjun5212 » Wed Mar 13, 2024 4:01 pm America/New_York

Hi All,
I am working on resample HDF-EOS file (MOD09A1) from 'SIN' projection to 'GEO' projection using HEG resample command in linux system. But I always get the errors as indicated below.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
***** Starting Run #1 *****
Detected ? at the end of /mwork/jliu/models/wrf_chem/Preprocessors/VPRMpreproc/filetable.temp_202438 in try #1. No problem with this file.
=================================
Product ShortName: MOD09A1
=================================
Grid MOD_Grid_500m_Surface_Reflectance FIELD_NAME = sur_refl_b01 OUTPUT_PROJECTION_TYPE = GEO ELLIPSOID_CODE = WGS84 OUTPUT_TYPE = HDFEOS does not exist.
Error: main : General Processing
:
Fatal Error, Terminating...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I tested the file using HEG in the Windows , it looks like it works perfectly without any problem. I can not figure out what the error is.
Thanks for your help.

Hi @jianjun5212
I think the HEG folks will be able to help you with this: heg-support@earthdata.nasa.gov.
Also, we have a tool that will do the same functions and it has many other capabilities also. It is the AppEEARS tool: https://appeears.earthdatacloud.nasa.gov
Thanks,
Brett
