Where can I find accurate licensing information regarding NASADEM_HGT v001

Hello,

I am interested in using NASADEM_HGT v001 but I am unable to find proper licensing information regarding this dataset. As I understood, this dataset uses primarily data from SRTM and other sets (such as ASTER GDEM2/3, ALOS, etc...) to augment the data. Would I in this case have to look at licensing information from each set separately or is NASADEM_HGT v001 licensed alone?

Any info would be appreciated so much.

All LP DAAC data products are public domain (CC0: https://creativecommons.org/public-domain/cc0/) and have no restrictions on reuse, sale, or redistribution. thanks for your thorough answer. I have one more question regarding JAXA ALOS AW3D30, which according to the documentation, is also used in creating NASADEM V001.I know JAXA's policies, but would I need to specifically also note that data is used in NASADEM or is that handled by NASADEM's licensing?

Hi @demmapdata Correct, if you are downloading and using the NASADEM product, you only need to follow the NASADEM license (CC 0.0).
