NASA LP DAAC Products to be Removed from USGS EarthExplorer on August 30th, 2024

NASA LP DAAC data products will be removed from USGS’s EarthExplorer and will no longer be distributed from that platform on August 30th, 2024. Users that currently download LP DAAC holdings in EarthExplorer are encouraged to familiarize themselves with NASA’s Earthdata Search in preparation for the withdrawal of LP DAAC data from EarthExplorer. A list of products that will be affected can be found on the LP DAAC website.

If you currently use EarthExplorer to access NASA LP DAAC products, and encounter any issues with updating your access workflows to use NASA’s Earthdata Search, please let us know by contacting us at LPDAAC@usgs.gov.
