Failed to load filter sets
Hi everyone,
I have updated the SeaDAS to SeaDAS 9.0.0 on Windows 11. I know it says that it is only compatible with Windows 10, but usually the basic tools run fine. However, after the update I started having problems with the filters. I can still apply them, but the error message appears before I can do so. Can you help me with this issue?
Thank you :)

Re: Failed to load filter sets
Thanks for reporting this error. I tested on both SeaDAS 9.0.0 and SNAP 10 and I can confirm that this error is present in both applications (and isn't limited to just Windows).
This error seems confined to failure in loading user custom saved filters. Otherwise, the Filter Band tool seems to be fully functional and you can ignore this warning if you are using the stock filters, or are defining the filter parameters each time you run this tool. But, it does appear at present, that you cannot save your custom filter parameters for convenience of repeated use.
I filed a SeaDAS issue ticket on this and I have also reported this to the SNAP team at ESA. Any fix to this will appear in a future release.

Re: Failed to load filter sets
Hiii,
I downloaded the latest version of SeaDAS, which should have fixed this error, but I keep getting it every time I try to use the "Create Filtered Band" tool.
The first time I used it it worked fine with no error, but the other times I have used it I have always got the pop up message with the exact same error. I use SeaDAS on Windows
Thanks in advance for your attention!
Kind regards,
Cassandra

Re: Failed to load filter sets
The latest SeaDAS release does not fix or claim to fix this issue of not being able to save user custom filters. We do hope this feature will be in a future SeaDAS release.
