I’m looking for observation data of global surface ozone whereas I discovered the TES/Aura L3 ozone data. However, in the documentation I read that this data shouldn’t be used for scientific purpose.
Are there other products containing global surface data available?

The TES Team provided the following information for you:
Level 2 is the preferred level of TES product to be used for scientific research. Level 3 is a daily and/or monthly average and it is down-sampled from 67 pressure level to a much smaller amount (based on atmospheric species) around 17 pressure levels.
