AQUA-MODIS, SNPP-VIIRS and NOAA20-VIIRS

Good morning,
are there any updates available on:
AQUA recalibration/recovery and consolidated data past 2023-10-01
VIIRS (both SNPP and NOAA20) consolidated data past 2024-02-04 (latest currently available)

Emanuele,

We're still evaluating calibration updates for MODIS-Aqua and are hopeful that we can initiate a mini-reprocessing (yes, the issue extends back a couple years) sometime in the next month. I have to check with the team about the VIIRS sensors. I believe it is just waiting on the nod from the calibration team as we just received the MERRA-2 data to be able to bring us to April 30 for refined processing.

BTW, SNPP suffered a GPS issue and is currently not being processed as the geolocation is now significatnly out of specification. We are awaiting an attempt by the SNPP project to reboot the onboard receiver.
