TEMPO V03 Beta Level 1, 2, and 3 Product Release

TEMPO Version 03 (V03) Beta Level 1, 2, and 3 data are now available from the NASA Langley Atmospheric Science Data Center (ASDC) via NASA Earthdata Search. These data are at beta maturity, meaning the products are minimally validated but may still contain significant errors. Because the products at this stage have minimal validation, users should refrain from making conclusive public statements regarding the science and applications of the data products until a product is designated at the provisional validation status.

User Guides describing the data products in this V03 Beta release and associated known issues can be found  here. The TEMPO Algorithm Theoretical Basis Documents (ATBDs) are still being finalized and are available upon request. TEMPO V03 data are available from May 13, 2024, to the present. The TEMPO Science Team is reprocessing earlier TEMPO data from August 2023 – May 2024 into the Version 03 format; these reprocessed data will be released as they are produced. All previous data are expected to be reprocessed within the next few months.
