The USGS EROS User Services team is pleased to announce the upcoming “Exploring EarthExplorer” webinar! Please join us for the upcoming EROS User Experience Webinar Series, where we talk to staff at the Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) center to learn more about the data, tools, and services available from EROS that impact our data users.

This webinar session will highlight the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) EarthExplorer (EE). EE provides online search, browse display, metadata export, data download, and processing support for the USGS EROS center's data holdings. New functions within EE have recently been introduced to help visualize Landsat data and its band combinations.

Datasets currently available in EE include Landsat, LCMAP, Aerial Imagery, AVHRR, Declassified CORONA, ARGON, LANYARD, and Keyhole, DEM, and more!

This webinar will show users how to use EE to search and download Landsat and other popular data sets. More advanced features will also be covered, including the new browse overlay options and how to create an ingest subscription. We will also review recent improvements to the web interface.

Our guest speaker will be Abby Miller, a User Services Specialist here at EROS.
