Version 3.64 of the Application for Extracting and Exploring Analysis Ready Samples (AρρEEARS) has been released! This release adds a “Spectral Comparison” tab allowing visualization of point samples from the Earth Surface Mineral Dust Source Investigation (EMIT) mission.
Using the “Spectral Comparison” tab, users can compare extracted point sample spectra from the EMIT L1B At-Sensor Calibrated Radiance and Geolocation Data (EMITL1BRAD v001) or EMIT L2A Estimated Surface Reflectance and Uncertainty and Masks (EMITL2ARFL v001) products. Up to three spectra can be selected based on their unique point ID and date/time using a dropdown menu, then compared in an interactive spectral plot. For additional information, view the Help page.
About AρρEEARS
AρρEEARS offers a simple and efficient way to perform data access and transformation processes by enabling users to download only the data they need. AρρEEARS provides access to a wide range of geospatial data from multiple federal archives, including ECOSTRESS, the Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) mission, Daymet gridded weather parameters, ASTER Global Digital Elevation Model (GDEM) Version 3, and population information from the Gridded Population of the World (GPW) collection.
A complete listing of data products available in AρρEEARS can be found on the Available Products list (https://appeears.earthdatacloud.nasa.gov/products). Additional resources for using AρρEEARS are available on the LP DAAC E-Learning page (https://lpdaac.usgs.gov/resources/e-learning/).
