Hello Everyone,

I downloaded daily Aqua MODIS phytoplankton carbon files from 2002 to 2022 however it seems that almost all the available data has a value of 0 save for a few token locations with especially high values. It looks almost as if the values after the decimal in the data were cut off, so the values all ended up as 0. instead of 0.002, 0.003, etc. Is it possible that there's an issue with the files that are being downloaded?

That product is experimental...and apparently not a very successful one

It was tested with MODIS in preparation for being used with PACE OCI...*that* version of the product is much better.
I'll have the developers take a look at the MODIS variant to see if it can be made, well, viable. If not, we'll remove it completely - as it isn't helpful to have a product that is a bunch of zeros.

The issue with the product has been resolved and it will be reprocessed shortly. Still a provisional product, but the reprocessed data will be more than a bunch of zeros
