This Functionality Has Moved

by lailai0824 » Sun Mar 16, 2025 1:51 am America/New_York

Hello, we noticed that the previous Ocean Color website (https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi/browse.pl) data download said "This Functionality Has Moved" and gave a new link.
In the new link, we did not find the previous corresponding data product (MODIS Aqua, such as 'A2025070063500.L1A_LAC.bz2'), how should we search it or migrate to which location?
We did not find MODIS L1A data in the new link.
The processing code is based on this product, which is very important for us to maintain data consistency.
Thank you very much.

And We searched for MODIS-Level II products (MODIS/Aqua Surface Reflectance Daily L2G Global 1km and 500m SIN Grig V061) on the new website and found that the data was not updated in a timely manner, with a delay of 3 days from the same day. We need to process MODIS data on a daily basis to monitor algal blooms. How do we do that?

There is a problem with linking the MODISA_L1 data to the set of collections displayed in the OBDAAC portal.

For now, if you click "Leave Portal" under the OBDAAC logo above the search window, you will search the whole catalog, and MODISA_L1 will be available

Issue resolved. MODISA_L1 now appears in the OB.DAAC portal as well.
