Hello,
I am doing my PhD study about forest biomass of mountain forest. I came to know about GEDI doing study on forest biomass so would like to learn about it. Therefore, would like to know is there GEDI data available for mountain forest biomass of Nepal around central part of Nepal?

Re: data availabilty
Hi,
I believe there is, in order to search the data we suggest first you use the GEDIfinder: https://lpdaac.usgs.gov/news/release-ge ... b-service/
The Gedifiner will give you a list of which orbits have you area of interest. You can then go to the Earthdata Search tool: https://search.earthdata.nasa.gov/search and order them. I would suggest while ordering them you select the Customize option to download the data, that way it will bring back a smaller subset of your area. The Version 1 data is not Georectified, so it does take extra steps access your data. Early next year Version 2 will be released and it will be georectified and easier to access specific areas. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Brett
