Question about geophysical corrections in GEDI Level2A dataset

Dear Sir or Madam,

The Algorithm Theoretical Basis Document (website: https://www.earthdata.nasa.gov/data/catalog/lpcloud-gedi01-b-002#documents-and-resources) has indicated that "elevation_bin0" and "elevation_lastbin" of Level1B dataset have been processed with geophysical corrections (i.e., solid earth tide, ocean loading, solid earth pole tide, and ocean pole tide).

I have a question to ask: are these geophysical corrections have been applied for any parameter in GEDI Level2A dataset? More specifically, have "elev_lowestmodel_aN" parameter of Level2A dataset been undergone geophysical corrections? If not, is there any solution to make geophysical corrections for Level2A dataset?

Thanks for your time.

Cheers,
Jw

Hi Jw,

The NASA PI confirmed: "Elevs in the L2A and down are derived directly from the L1B geolocated waveform
So any geophysical/atmosphere corrections applied to the L1B are then going to be in all the l2a etc elevation products"
Thank you for your patience while we verified this, and have good weekend.
Brett
