Question about GEDI Level2A dataset update

Dear Sir or Madam,

To the best of my knowledge, current most updated GEDI L2A (Elevation and Height Metrics V002) dataset is officially described in Earthdata website (https://www.earthdata.nasa.gov/data/catalog/lpcloud-gedi02-a-002).

I have one question to ask:
(1) I notice that there is a note in abovementioned website: "Due to the lapse in federal government funding, NASA is not updating this website. We sincerely regret this inconvenience.". Does this mean future updated GEDI L2A dataset will be stored into other website? If so, where can I acquire future updated GEDI L2A dataset?

One of my current research is highly related with GEDI L2A dataset, thus I need to confirm that GEDI L2A dataset I have utilized is the most updated version to avoid possible height inaccuracy or other issues.

Hello @john6444 Some websites were temporarily on hold from being updated during the government shutdown. However, the websites are now being updated again, you will continue to find the latest information and data access links for GEDI Level 2A data from that website. It is best to use the DOI link as that will persist for years to come: https://doi.org/10.5067/GEDI/GEDI02_A.002.
