How can one asscess the ASTER L1 V003 data that was decommissioned on 15 dec 2025, EARTH DATA suggests to use ASTER L1 version 4 data but the data is in .hdf format. I want to know if the same data can be used to generate DEM fron version 4 stereo pairs.

@nufaisa Thank you for your question. The ASTER L1 V003 data is no longer available as of December 15, 2025.
Our science support suggests that using a free tool such as the GDAL to convert to a single GeoTiff file may assist you with HDF to GeoTiff.
