Mosaic window not rendering correctly

I noticed that with the new SeaDAS 10 the 'Map Projection Definition' tab of the Raster --> Geometric --> Mosaic tool is not showing up correctly. I don't see the input fields, nor the world map. This is on both Mac and Windows versions. The other two tabs of Mosaic show up correctly.

I also noticed that the 'World Map' tool window is not showing up. The map doesn't display. The globe is showing in the 'World View' tool window. Maybe it is related since the 'Map Projection Definition' also displays a world map.

It is working on SeaDAS 8.4.1 and I also tested it on SNAP 13.

Thanks for your post and details regarding this issue. I just checked and can confirm that SeaDAS 10 does have this issue. SeaDAS 10 uses SNAP 12, whereas SeaDAS 8.4.1 used an early development version of SNAP 10. I'm glad to hear that SNAP 13 works regarding these issues which you pointed out. The next SeaDAS release (expected Spring of 2026) will use SNAP 13, so most likely this will fix these World Map issues.

I didn't realize SeaDAS was using SNAP 12. I just checked the Mosaiking window with SNAP 12 and SNAP 11. For both version the window comes up fine. The World Map shows up as well. So I am not sure if it is a SNAP issue... Unless they fixed this bug later in SNAP and SeaDAS 10 is using an early release again...

It is very annoying since we use this tool a lot. Hope you can figure out the issue.

Thanks for checking against SNAP 12 and we do apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your use of SeaDAS.

SeaDAS 10 specifically used SNAP 12.0.1 (the official SNAP release tag). However, there were significant issues/challenges with achieving the successful integration of SNAP 12 into SeaDAS 10 (as SNAP and SeaDAS have significantly evolved and diverged).

We do remain hopeful that the issues you mentioned will get resolved with the next SeaDAS release.
