Help on accessing numerical data sheets on Net Primary Production

Is there a way to access and download numerical data on global NPP? I am an undergrad and I am trying to find out if there is a relationship between NPP and climate change.

Are you trying to find terrestrial NPP, oceanic, or total?

I would like to find the total NPP, but if it's not too much to ask both the oceanic and terrestrial would be great.

Hello,

You can obtain terrestrial NPP from MODIS via the LP DAAC.

https://earthdata.nasa.gov/search?q=npp+mod17a3

Ocean NPP based on SeaWiFS data is available here
http://sites.science.oregonstate.edu/oc ... ductivity/ This can probably be used for basic estimates even though the time period is 1997-2009.

For more recent data, look under Custom Products

This page has a few annual Land/Ocean merged NPP products.
