Hello,
I have been using the monthly L3 Chl-a products from https://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/l3/order/. It is noticed that since December 2025, there has been data missing spanning the transitional longitude region between 180° and -180°. The missing regions are quite significant, particularly when working over tropical areas, could you kindly suggest how this issue may be handled, or whether any correction/reprocessed dataset is available?

Thank you for reaching out. May I ask if you can specify which sensor you had selected in your order in which you noticed data missing for the region selected? Can I also ask if you can provide your Order ID for the order with the missing data?

If you are referring to MODIS, yes, we are aware of the issue with the binning of recent data. It has to do with the selection of data that fall with in the "data day". The logic in place isn't handling the orbit drift properly. The code has been updated and once it is put into production for those missions, the missing data at the dateline will be corrected.
