MODIS MOD13Q1 access problem

Hello,

I am working on downloading MOD13Q1 .hdf files across a range of dates for a few geographic locations, using a few packages in R. I process these data and use them in epidemiological analyses. My process has been working for several days (beginning around August 9) but stopped last night (August 12) and continues to not work today (August 13). I am receiving this error message in R:

"Failed to access URL: https://e4ftl01.cr.usgs.gov/MOLT/MOD13Q1.061/2018.12.30/ with status code 404"

I've generated a new token, wondering if something had gone wrong with my previous one but even the new one is not working. Is it possible that my IP address has somehow been blocked?

Hi Daniel,
I think it is the URL you are trying to access. There is not a folder from 12/30. The last 16-day period from 2018 is 12/19. Could you give that a try and let me know if it still is a problem.

You're correct - my dates were off, and now that I've got that fixed it seems to work. Thanks! (I should have noticed that!)
