ORNL DAAC Request for Revising an Existing GCMD Project: NPP

Hi,

We'd like to request to revise the definition of an existing GCMD project keyword. Its description was mistakenly assigned with info about another project.

Existing GCMD project to be revised:
UUID: 9926f517-829e-4870-b18c-9f7cee875b85
Short name: NPP
New Definition: The Net Primary Production (NPP) data collection contains field measurements of biomass and estimated NPP for approximately 100 terrestrial study sites worldwide, compiled from published literature and other extant data sources. Some combination of above-ground annual peak live biomass data and/or seasonal biomass dynamics data is available for all sites. Many sites also have data on below-ground biomass and/or turnover. A number of previously compiled multi-site, multi-biome datasets of georeferenced NPP estimates are also provided in this collection. Compilation of these datasets was sponsored by NASA's Terrestrial Ecology Program.

Hi @GCMD - tstevens ,

This looks good. There is not a project website for NPP as it's a legacy effort funded by NASA TE program years ago. If there has to be a reference project URL, you can use the NASA TE program website URL: https://cce.nasa.gov/terrestrial_ecology/index.html.
