NASA's Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC) has announced the availability of the Global Ecosystem Dynamics Investigation (GEDI) Version 2 Level 1B Geolocated Waveform Data, Level 2A Elevation and Height Metrics Data, and Level 2B Canopy Cover and Vertical Profile Metrics Data for the period of February 20, 2025, through July 9, 2025.
This data delivery marks the third release since the GEDI instrument was re-installed on the International Space Station (ISS). Please note that no data acquisitions occurred while the GEDI instrument was in storage from March 17, 2023, to April 27, 2024.
Users can access the data products through NASA’s Earthdata Search.
